elago is a design company established in 2002. We have been San Diego based from the start, but have distribution all over the world.
We are currently seeking an Accounting Staff to add to our team. This position is an entry level position that reports to the Accounting Manager and assists in managing the transactions of the entity by applying GAAP to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. This position offers very strong career growth as the company is aggressively growing.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide daily support to Accounting Manager and other Department Heads as needed
Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
Support monthly financial month-end and year-end close process
Maintain and record financial transaction in QuickBooks Online accurately
Prepare adjusting/recurring journal entries as needed
Reconcile monthly bank and credit card accounts
Assist in preparing schedules and reports for the audit or tax notice as needed
Provides administrative support to the accounting team, including collaboration on projects across business units
Perform other related duties including ad hoc reporting and projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience in accounting field
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP required
CPA or in process preferred
QuickBooks (online) knowledge preferred
Computer proficiency with MS software and expertise in Excel
Fluency in English and Korean preferred
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Strict attention to detail, highly organized and efficient
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High level of multitasking is required
Team player and works collaboratively across the business for maximum impact
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Starting Salary: Will be announced during/after the interview
Sponsor: Open for Green card base on the 6-month performance review and needs
